Right on cue

Plymouth Group got their pool cues out recently as part of Community Week, raising £115  in the process.  This was in aid of the South West Children's Hospice Precious Lives Appeal.

Mel Howes organised the pool tournament and all staff were invited to attend.  The players included John Murphy (who will soon be setting off on the A-B bike ride!), Scott Chennery, Sue & Pete Lamming & Sue's sister Lynn, Eddie Wadsworth, Jay Adamson, Andy & Mary Walker and their son, Kevin Howes and Paul & Di.

"The landlord of the pool hall donated the tables free of charge and also donated a new pool cue as a prize for the winner of the tournament. The younger lads thought they were going to win and didn't take any notice of Pete Lamming who was playing a storm.  He took them all by surprise by winning.  He's now been renamed Pete 'the shark' Lamming.  Pete just said 'beware of the quiet ones...'

Lots of friends and family joined in the fun and a great night was had by all, for a great cause."
