IS raise money for Swindon charity

Well done to IS at Wakefield House who had two people sponsored to run 10k last week.

Over 150 competitors in total took part in Nailsea Running Club's last race of the season, which was the Festival 10k road race in Nailsea, on the evening of Wednesday 22nd June.

Conditions were dry but blustery and the course, which had been described as 'undulating' turned out to be rural and hilly.

Graham Willis and Andrew Caple from Smiths News IS Business systems were the two runners competing in the race and they raised a fantastic £330 for Prospect Hospice in Swindon. It was Graham's first 10K and he finished in a time of 47:57 minutes, while Andrew Caple finished in a time of 50:55 minutes.

Andrew and Graham would like to thank all those who sponsored them for the race.
